News from 2012 to 2021 about Merry Moor Winnett

November 11, 2012- December 10, 2013  - A retrospective exhibition of Merry's work was held. The gallery's attendance records were broken as visitors spread the word of this unique show of hand made photographs.

The exhibition of 45 photographs was held at the Sechrest Gallery of High Point University in High Point, North Carolina.

Ongoing each year -  The Merry Moor Winnett Scholarship is awarded annually to an art student at Guilford College (where Merry taught).

Efforts to increase scholaship funds in her name are continuing.

Merry's Website -  November of 2013, the  website was launched as a tribute to an outstanding artist whose legacy needs to be preserved.

A generous grant from The Hisch Family Fund of NC provided funds to assist Merry's website for three years.

 We gratefully acknowledge that gift.
